Lucknow, 1 February : Saumya Nigam, a class VII student of City
Montessori School, Station Road
campus won the 'first prize' in inter-school smart kid competition and brought
laurels to the institution. The contest was organized by M/s Resonance and she
was awarded a tablet PC and a discount on domestic flight worth Rs. 25,000/-.
Mr Hari Om Sharma, Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS informed. The students
of various known schools of Lucknow
had participated in this contest but this talented CMS student grabbed the
first prize by showing her innovative and creative talents, Mr Sharma informed.
This upcoming talented student of CMS is committed to raise national flag high.
Mr Sharma
informed that CMS imparts material, social and divine education to its students
and also develops their taste for cultural and literary activities as well
besides encouraging them according to their capability. This helps CMS students
to top academically and also make their presence felt in song, music, dance,
literature and art. CMS students get appropriate training from the school for
these extra curricular activities. Music is the food of soul, it empowers inner
strength and helps students to become a humble and cultured citizen of the
society, Mr Sharma said. CMS continuously endeavours to instill devotion,
melody, humility and peace in students by teaching music and singing to them.
CMS aims to impart such education to children that prepares them as world
leaders, so that they lead the world using their humanistic approach.
