What is Vastu! It is sanskrit ‘for the location where we stay’. When Vastushastra came into being there were no municipalities, village development administration and construction by-laws. Vastu states, logically sufficient, that the kitchen in a house should be in leeward main heading for the easy cause that the wind would take away kitchen smoke rather than of dispersing it interior the dwelling. We have Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, which do not have to the east raging torrent rivers, and they are prosperous states.

It is said that the temple at Tirupati is wealthy because of Vastu, others are not so because of Vastu. Even Gods arrive into the clutches of Vastu!
