New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit today inaugurated the work on laying of PNG pipelines in Lady Hardinge Medical College Colony near Panchkuian Road, New Delhi.

Speaking on this occasion, Dikshit stated that the Piped Natural Gas (PNG) supply is a continuous source for the kitchens, it is safe as well as cheaper than the LPG. The supply of PNG is reliable and hassle-free as there is no need of waiting for the cylinders to be delivered.

She expressed hope that the supply would be started at the earliest as the laying of pipelines is being taken up on war-footing. She further stated that the city government has taken large number of steps to make the lives of the citizens of the New Delhi area more comfortable. Among others, Shri Sukha Ram, Member (NDMC) were also present on this occasion.
